FUME_DESIGNER_ENVIRONMENT
Applies to
- Designer
Default
- Designer: Unset (no badge shown)
Examples
# Show a purple DEV badge
FUME_DESIGNER_ENVIRONMENT=dev
# Show a red PROD badge
FUME_DESIGNER_ENVIRONMENT=prod
# Hide the badge
FUME_DESIGNER_ENVIRONMENT=
Purpose
Shows a color-coded environment badge in the Mapping Designer app bar so operators can tell deployments apart at a glance.
Notes
- Values are case-insensitive. Known values get a dedicated color:
dev/development/local: purple/blueDEVbadgeqa: orangeQAbadgetest/testing: greenTESTbadgestaging/stage: amberSTAGINGbadgeprod/production: redPRODbadge
- Any other value renders as a neutral grey badge showing the value in uppercase, so an unexpected setting is surfaced rather than silently hidden.
- Leave the value empty (or unset) to hide the badge entirely.
- This is independent of FUME_DESIGNER_HEADLINE: the headline sets the page title text, while this setting drives the color-coded badge.
